Coming week will be show again one significant step in international politics and especially in Western Balkans. 1st at its plenary session called for 8th October, the 192-member UN General Assembly is to debate Serbia’s draft resolution calling for an advisory opinion by the International Court of Justice on Kosovo’s unilaterally declared independence. 2nd EU tries again find some common position about Kosovo case and the forecast is that EU member-states will probably abstain from the vote at the UN. 3rd Portugal, Macedonia (FYR) and Montenegro are under huge pressure to recognize Kosovo independence.

Although Hyseni admitted that approval of Serbia's draft resolution by the General Assembly is likely, he appeared confident. "In the long run, this Serb exercise will not cause any explicit implications on the independence or on the process of recognition," he asserted.

The Parliament Speaker of Kosova, Jakup Krasniqi apologized today to Kosovar MPs for the insult, which he has done “without consciousness” and “without address”

 The MPs of Kosova’s Parliament approved today with majority of votes the motion for deflexion from the rules for proceeding the laws that have not been signed by the Head of UNMIK.

Kosovo obtained part independence when America and many European nations gave the go ahead for the creation of this new nation. However, it is clear that things are not plain sailing because many other nations did not support this elitist adventure, therefore, the wider international community was ignored. So today we have a situation where some nations support this new state (47 nations currently support this nation), however, the majority of nations in Africa, Asia, and South America, have not given their consent. Also, the Russian Federation, Spain, and some other European nations, refuse to accept this American led adventure. So what does the future hold for Kosovo and international law?

Economic Chamber of Kosovo (OEK) in cooperation with the prestigious newspaper Al Arab of Qatar will publish in November a booklet presenting Kosovo after independence, focusing on its natural riches, current events and investment opportunities in Kosovo.

Montenegrin foreign minister Milan Rocen said during a parliamentary debate that "an independent Kosovo is a political reality ... and Montenegro has no right to close its eyes before that fact".
