Hi guys! How are you?
Search engine optimization is a necessary course of action that internet mark

Hi guys! How are you?
Search engine optimization is a necessary course of action that internet marketers must follow to ensure that they would realize business success in the world of e-commerce. Budding internet marketers and businessmen who fail to use Search Engine Optimization or those who do not believe that it can help their business succeed are better off closing their business. Without SEO, you might as well close down because whether you like it or not, traffic would not come knocking on your door. Although sometimes it happens if you are lick enough, you may get 1 inquiry out of 10,000 passersby.

A. Study the market and know who your competitors are. You should find out everything you can about your particular business and those who are in the same business as yours. As much as possible, gather all the information that you can and determine how your competitors maintain their appeal to the market. Be on your toes if there are new players in your market because new competitors with new marketing strategies would always be there.

B. Determine the applicable keywords for your business. Try to do a search on your own, or have somebody not connected to the business do it for you. This way, you can determine what words, phrases and terminology people would most probably use when searching for businesses similar to yours. Use the high ranking words (those with a high number of hits) to describe your website in order to target search traffic towards you.

C. Using your list of keywords, find ways to use them singly, in combination with each other or as phrases. Having as many combinations as possible that can drive traffic to your site would guarantee better results for your search engine ranking. You can easily do this by incorporating them in your website’s content.

D. Regularly add to or modify your website’s content. Make sure that your headlines, captions, and content are all geared towards improving the chances of your website to attract traffic.

E. On a monthly basis, improve your keyword list to make them better and more responsive to traffic. This is one way of making sure that you stay visible in your market because the internet market is not a static business battleground, it evolves quickly and you have to be even quicker to make the changes.

F. Keep a record of your search engine performance. Being informed of where you stand allows you to formulate better tactics and strategies to improve or maintain your ranking.

G. Repeat the steps all over again! To keep ahead, you have to repeatedly do the same process all over again because your competitor would eat you up if you don’t. Don’t be afraid to experiment or try new strategies, whatever gets you ahead in the virtual market are what counts.

This is the basic process of search engine optimization techniques that e-commerce players have to be aware of and need to follow. Although SEO is just one of them, knowing one important technique is certainly a lot better than not knowing anything at all and keeps you from on wondering why your business is having a difficult time. Over time, you will also learn some other techniques aside from SEO which you can put to good use.

Hope you guys had a great weekend

What's so special about this photograph ?

The picture depicts a briyani in a hotbox. What's a briyani ? Please refer wikipedia for more.

Chennai is a city with a plethora of briyani shops. This is the first shop i have seen where it's served in a hot box to keep it warm till you complete the meal. What's so nice is the fact that this shop is a roadside briyani seller with a pricing of US $ .5 or Rs 25 for the above serving.

The shops was quite clean by standards of briyani shops across chennai. The attendant was quite polite and respectful to the customer. It's a rareity in eateries like these . The icing on the cake was a pack of "after meals" i received along with the tooth pick.

Normally, i am quite conscious about dining in shops of this short. For once i felt really happy and vowed to return to the shop if i get another chance. See the picture of the shop below.

I am amazed by the rustic intelligence and marketing nuance applied here. these are learnings for me and you

a) your offering should be able to create awe when compared to competitors(differentiators).

b) the core offering should be good and well supported by the environmental factors(packaging)

c) The customer should be able to sense value immediately for the offering

7 Things I Learned On The Interweb This Week

Man, with the lack of posting this week, all you all might think I’m actually Syzlak. Or am I

Man, with the lack of posting this week, all you all might think I'm actually Syzlak. Or am I? Anyways, it's just been a helluva' week. I mean, there's that whole work thing where the bossman thinks I need to actually do something to earn my wage, and then all the interweb drama starting with some jackass last Friday and going all the way through to this week, where some "ethical" marketing troll took it upon herself to pick a fight with a comrade of mine among many others.

Speaking of which, there is an art to knowing when to shut the fuck up. I don't usually try to tell people what to do, well, aside from my SEO Standards, and I realize that the person who should probably be reading this the most will never see it. But for the three or four of you who do, you probably don't need a lecture from a jackass like me. But whatever. The thing is, this thing called the interweb is wonderful for expressing one's self, even if that expression is one of dislike and contempt for another. Yes, one should stick up for one's self and one's friends. However, when that "expression" turns into a way to alienate someone you care about from their colleagues and making people question associating with that person due to their association with you, you need to step back from the keyboard and monitor and really think long and hard about what you're doing. At that point, it's not about "being you" or whatever new-age hippie bullshit you tell yourself. It goes beyond you. It goes to the heart of destroying the reputation of those who you hold dear and associate yourself with. And at that point, that is point at which you need to learn to shut the fuck up. Besides, you're just gonna' get hung by your own words.

Oh, and constantly threatening to sue others for doing the same shit you do to others? Just remember who the first victim of the guillotine was. Do unto others as you'd want un done to yourself and all that.

So, with that, on with the Semper Fi edition of 7 Things I Learned On The Interweb This Week!

1. Subway's new $5 Footlong plus 7" knife promotion isn't being received well. I'm guessing Quizzno's Zesty Meatball and Razor Blade sub wont' be successful either.

2. Rebecca Kelley has very nice teeth. 4 out 5 RKFB's agree! Yet another reason for my fanboy allegiance and loyalty. And yes, I recognize how fucking creepy this is.

3. Being Andy Dick sucks. And not just because that means you're a drug-addled asshole and groper of teenage girls. No. It sucks because no matter what happens, when you wake up you're still Andy Dick and you peaked by standing on the shoulders of others. That's the best Andy Dick story I read since Lovitz put the beat down on Dick's sorry ass.

4. Don't fuck with Streko's friends.

5. Comedy is hard to write, and nearly impossible for some. This isn't a dig just 'cuz someone was too much of a chicken shit to publish my comments or decided to be a dick to Ms. Rebecca Kelley. Okay, maybe it is. I mean, he goes after her with some cheap, throw-away comment that's not even fucking original? WTF? But still. If this is an example of a comedy blog, then Dane Cook is the funniest motherfucker alive. Seriously. I'm pretty sure there's another reason I'm feeling a little woozie - and it ain't because of Badoozie. Maybe it's because of the stench of failure or suckassdom? Perhaps too much bullshit? Or the overwhelming feeling of pity that though this guy is trying to pick a fight with the industry, we all realize he has a hard time fighting for air 'cuz his head is so far up his ass? That's probably why you're feeling woozie, jackass. Pull your head out and realize that your mom is just saying those nice things 'cuz that's what mothers do. And you really ought to consider having sex with a robot if you get the chance. With PMS jokes and shit as your standard fare, that's the only way you're gonna' get laid.

6. No matter how old I get or what level of success I achieve (or, rather, don't achieve), poop stories will always crack me up. Thanks, El Tigre.

7. Either white girls can't dance, or the Icky Shuffle and the Twist are making a comeback.

So, there it is. Have a good weekend and junk.

Tips To Write and Earn A $1000 Per Month Blog

First of all, sorry guys for not updating my blog for some while now as I was on a bit tight schedul

First of all, sorry guys for not updating my blog for some while now as I was on a bit tight schedule.

Coming back to my post, recently, my SEO colleague and my friends wanted to know if it is possible to gain more than $1000 from a blog per month. I have been making some research on this topic and have tried to find the hidden features to achieve this. The technique used is simple with no exceptional skills required but its not that easy too.

So below is the solution to earn $1000 dollars :

1) Don’t neglect on making articles. If you really want to earn money by blogging, spend a sufficient amount of your time into your prepared blogs everyday. I would suggest at least 2 posts per day so that your blog is active all the time. If for some reason, you were unable to write a post, mention an apologetic sentence stating it to all your readers, so that you gain a certain level of respect from them.

2) Prepare BIG articles containing ORIGINAL content. Well after all a infectious content is the main reason which will attract readers to your blog. So maintain a good balance in terms of your big articles.

3) Don’t be too greedy. Just keep in mind, Quality is always better than Quantity. Keep active only one to two blogs instead of 10 tiny blogs. Do not fill your blog with unnecessary and irrelevant adverts. Keep the blog decent having a good look and feel and colors to attract and importantly hold on to readers.

4) Offer subscriptions to the readers visiting your blog. After it grows to 200 or more, add feedcount widget to your blog. Many readers subscribe by watching the feedcount on your blog. This is often stated as a balanced assessment sheet of blogs.

5) Bookmark your blog regularly in popular bookmarking website to increase your friends list based that your posts or articles are more visible.

6) Always reply to the comments from your blog site so that you create a good rapo with readers for them to visit your blog site again.

7) Always visit forums (that are popular) regularly. Also, if possible make lenses in Squidoo and hubs in hubpages because it helps you to promote your blog which in return helps you in earning money at the same time.

8) Finally, (from my past experience) I would suggest to write reader-centric. Read various blogs sites of similar topics as yours and check the articles or posts which are the most popular ones. Then translate them into your own simple user-friendly words with good vocabulary and narration.

That’s it then, the above tips are to my best of my knowledge and experience, but the results may vary as per your implementation and dedication of work you have put in.

All the best in earning by marketing blogs and share with me about your experience in using the above tips. Also feel free to write to me regarding any issue on the above article.

Written by Nitesh Pednekar (niteshseo86@gmail.com)
Thousands of blogs are written on SEO every day and they all scoot around the same ideas of metas,

Thousands of blogs are written on SEO every day and they all scoot around the same ideas of metas, clean URLs, keywords, links, site navigation and regularly updated content. While I am still in the learning process, and will probably never be an expert due to search engines constantly improving and tweaking their algorithms, I feel that every article is saying the same thing, day after day. Today I read an article on Promotion World on “15 unforgettable priceless tips regarding on-page optimization” and I thought I would expand on the list by digging a little deeper on a few of the points.

1. URLs—First, keep it clean. Use hyphens and not any characters that the spiders won’t be able to detect—or they’ll stop reading your pages! This is especially true for each individual product. While the article suggests using your prime targeted keyword, I have to argue that building brand awareness is more valuable. Put your prime targeted keyword as the first phrase in your Page Title.

2. Your Page Title does not need to include your brand name. This is especially important for new websites. Have 5-7 key phrases to help optimize your search results. Additionally, be sure not to repeat page titles. You want each one unique and relevant to the content on the page.

3. Meta Descriptions—Begin with top keyword phrases and ensure that each sentence is dramatically correct. The description must also be enticing as it is what customers read as they are determining on which link to click.

4. Image Optimization—Try to limit the flash on the website if you are new to the industry. This will help optimize the page for the time being. Also, ensure that the text surrounding the image is supportive and relevant. This is important for Google Image searches.

Is Digg looking to sell to The Guardian?

This question was prompted by the perception that more and more Guardian stories (and stories from other MSM outlets) seem to be creeping further and further up the home page on Digg, at the expense of those tech-fixated sources which used to dominate.

If this were the consequence of an editorial decision on the part of Digg's hierarchy, it might well make good sense for both parties. Newspapers are losing out to search engines (and to one in particular), so why not confront this problem by buying into the way (or rather one of the ways) search is heading in future?

It's an intriguing theory, albeit one based on supposition rather than any smoking gun.

You'd think that particular title would have it's hands full right now, in honeymoon mode so to speak.

The Guardian proposed to paidContent last week, who said 'yes' - a marriage of new media services which received the blessing of Jeff Jarvis.

But just 24 hours earlier, Jeff put the cat amongst the pigeons with some blue skies thinking around the theme of where the media might go in future with it's business models.

Why don't newspapers offload production and distribution of their content to a company who knows exactly what it's doing online, who is already doing it well, like, say... Google?

This suggestion sparked good debate, with some in the industry betraying a propensity toward Marxist thought – ownership of the means of distribution is clearly crucial to some.

Nevertheless, with the ongoing malaise across the media market, many newspaper execs must be scratching their heads, contemplating all the different ways they might make their titles sustainable, but moreover profitable into an online future.

If a newspaper were to buy out a social news service like Digg, and introduce more of it's readers to the service, they could develop a network of mutual trust and self-interest across the net, which could certainly be monetized some way down the line.

However, that's for the future. In the here and now, there have been several murmurings in the blogosphere about just how the MSM are getting their titles top of the heap in social news services.

Back in June, Paul Bradshaw questioned how The Daily Mail had suddenly become so successful on Digg and Reddit. Then a fortnight ago, Matt Wardman took a forensic look at how the UK online media are tampering with their content for optimal recall (suggesting the possible use of foul means).

It would seem the media are still in denial when it comes to the future – its cheaper and easier to boost your ABCe figures by twisting the system, than by creating and fostering a social network around your content.

But, long-term this is a busted flush – as another controversial Jeff Jarvis post hinted at last week – Google is getting better at spotting those foul means, and sorting the wheat of good content from the chafe of mendacious SEO.*

Whether or not any media company are sizing up Digg (or any of the other social news services out there), its certainly something to consider.

If you open up a genuine two-way dialogue with your readers, it opens up the possibility of moving your business model away from production, and toward providing a service – something many who've been contemplating this issue for much longer than me, are well attuned to.

That said, there are some who would urge a note of caution – just how social are social news sites?

*And yes, for anyone who reads this and wonders, I am fully aware SEO is mostly used for good. <ok>

(3) Live Search (sebelumnya MSN Search). Url: http://live.com.

Tentu saja terserah Anda. Saya sendiri paling suka memakai dua mesin pencari: Google dan Clusty.com. Kalau Anda bagaimana?

Are you wondering what’s new in SEO web writing trends? In the past, SEO articles were often wri

Are you wondering what’s new in SEO web writing trends? In the past, SEO articles were often written incoherently and mainly used to fool search engines into listing a website. For a time, this worked, since search engines could not tell the difference between a genuine article and a “manufactured” article featuring filler content (or fluff) and plagiarism. However, search engines have been programmed to become “smarter.” Sometimes the search engine will reject articles based on copied text or mindlessly repeated keywords, and sometimes human editors actually read the articles to verify they are of a superior quality.

SEO web writing trends suggest that competition among online services has led to a need for higher quality articles. Besides, it’s not just the search engine cooperation that companies need. If a casual web viewer were to find your web page and read incoherent or grammatically affect text, they would quickly lose interest in your product. It pays to have original, well-written online content.

Another one of the more disturbing SEO web writing trends is that of web masters using computer programs to write articles. This practice involves entering one original text into a system and then getting five alternatively worded versions of the same source article. Theoretically a great idea, as the website owner could pay one writer for the job of five. Unfortunately, randomized sentences don’t come out too well. The following is an actual result from one of these online programs that made a simple paragraph about schooling into something truly bizarre: (quoted from “Writers Depository”)

“While parents would be copyright and pleading a comforting home for their child, and be related to their complaints and feelings, schools can also instrument a intersection in reshaping a uneasy student’s hostile mind. Some psychologists and counselors are disposable to dishwashing in high and help students speciate insurgence trait and attic abilities.”

Now you understand the idea of why intelligent human writing is indispensable and worth paying for. SEO web writing trends indicate that quality writing is becoming all the more important in the age of Web 2.0. For more information on SEO web writing trends and great rates on SEO articles, visit Words You Want.

Did you know- How google used to rank your blog !!!… Well as for as i know you all might me aware of this feature of Google. Yes you are right- I am gonna share you about a little bit of my reserch on a tool of Google that’s being very popular now a days. That is “Google Blog Search” with this tool we can search the blogs listed in google. If you are getting a high traffic on your blogs, no doubt this will be very profitable for you. But what are the basic factors does Google take into account to elaborate the search results, as for as i know Google used to work on some techniques about the positive and negative factors affecting blog ranking, check it out:—

Positive Factors:

* Popularity of the blog (RSS subscriptions)
* Implied popularity (how many clicks search results get)
* Inclusion in blogrolls
* Inclusion in “high quality” blogrolls
* Tagging of posts (also from users)
* References to the blog by Resource.
* Page rank of Blog.

Negative Factors:

* Predictable frequency of posts (short bursts of posts might indicate spam)
* Content of the blog does not match content of the feed
* Content includes spam keywords
* Duplicated content
* Posts have all the same size
* Link distribution of the blog
* Posts primarily link to one page or site.

So be careful about these terms, and then you will be surely rewarded by Google..In fact all these Terms are mostly common in all other major Search Engines.
