Lynn, Shun and I went on a spending spree today. She got a manicure and I did full face threading. If you've never had threading done before, let me tell you that it's damn super painful. If I were to compare it with any other types of pain, I'd say it hurt more than my belly piercing and about as much as my PMS. By the time the lady was done, tears were rolling down my red, bleeding skin *sobs*. She says it's cause I have sensitive skin, but I think I just have too much bulu ish.

Many beginners don't realize it, but a good quality golf bag is one of the most important items of golfing equipment that you can have. It helps you store and transport all your clubs, equipment and golfing accessories. allowing you to concentrate on your game.

There are basically two types of golf bags to choose from:

1. Carry Bags, which as the name suggests are bags designed to be carried by you as you walk around the golf course.

2. Cart Bags, which are designed to be used with a golf cart.

When you're first starting out, you will probably want to get a carry bag, but chances are that eventually you will need both types, especially since some golf courses prohibit walking and have riding a golf cart as the only option.

One question that many beginners ask is "Why do I need a golf bag when I only have a handful of clubs?" The thing to remember though is that eventually you will probably get more clubs, and in any case clubs are not the only thing that you need to carry around on the greens! Additionally, you can get golf bags with little convienences to make your games more pleasant and enjoyable - for example, some golf bags even have pocket coolers which can keep your drink ice-cold.

When choosing a golf bag, the main issues to consider are comfort, weight, durability:

- The importance of comfort can not be understated! Remember that you will be spending many hours with your bag, so you want to choose one which fits and comfortably and which you can carry easily.

- Weight also ties into comfort: a lighter bag is of course easier to carry. Sometimes they may be a trade-off between durability and weight - lighter bags are often less sturdily constructed than heavier bags - but it isn't always this way: you can get bags made of ultra-light modern materials such as graphite (although such bags can cost more).

- The importance of durability goes without saying. You don't want to buy a bag which is going to fall apart on you as soon as you start using it!

Aside from the above, there are other features which you may consider important. As already mentioned some bags include drink coolers, which are a nice extra. A more central feature is the number of compartments and dividers in the bag - while most bags are designed to hold up to 15 golf clubs (although the number of clubs you can carry during a tournament may be limited) - there are differences between bags in this area, which could be important to you if you like to carry a lot of golfing accessories. Finally another thing to look out for is water-resistance: a water-resistant bag will help protect your golf clubs, and thus is almost certainly worth the extra investment.

Anyways the fall baby sale is one of the 2 times a year I shop at gymboree for the kids... & I just didn't have much fall stuff in the closet this year so I needed it more then usual.  Anyways the baby sale sets price points at $10 & $20.  Well if you can get a 20% off coupon then it means its $8 & 16 which is more in my budget!  Especially since I can resell most of it for about 3/4 of what I paid for it which is good for clothes.  I also forgot that I also got $125 in gymbucks!!! That means when its redemption time I will spend $125 & get $250 tagged priced worth of stuff...  that will make what I buy 1/2 off the marked price.  PLUS they will have lots of the stuff I really want from the clearanced lines marked down more... which means the cute dresses that are $25 & less I will pay $12.50 & less for them . I will have to wait until I see how much I make at the SNOMOMS fall sale before I decide what to do... but it could come in very handy.   Its all their clothes I'm selling so it makes sense to put it back towards more of their clothes! I will also need to pull everything out & count & see WHAT they actually need... but I can always use gymbo gymmies (PJ's)!

I got $587 in clothes for $279... not to bad plus I got $125 in gymbucks which will basically take 50% off my purchase during redemption if I shop then.  All I really need is a few solid tops for the girls & some jeans from Old Navy for all 3 & they will me pretty set for the fall at least :)

Anyways all of the girls stuff I got 2 of each... LOTS of mix match outfits here from the Fall Forest line! Retail $472... I paid $223.

Then to make my week even better I went to the local thrift store today.  They RARELY have decent kids clothes & the name brand stuff is often marked high & not great condition.  Well digging through a tub I found these pants & shirt for $2.50 total :) apparently they don't know that Janie & Jack is made buy Gymboree & even more expensive!  It will make a nice outfit for the little man.  Anyways its this shirt  from the 'Little Gentleman' line and these pants from the 'Rainforest Foray' line. They were $62 new... so $2.50 isn't too bad :)

Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow

Have been meaning to do a post on Tiltt for a while, but the Frock Report beat me to it. They have a great online store where you can get your hands on the likes of Cre8tive Recreation, String Republic and Paez and also distribute to a number of SA's hipper boutiques. I'm particularly interested in Paez, which is imported from Buenos Aires (maybe its just because i'm planning a trip there in a couple of months). We're starting to see a few online fashion businesses springing up to cater for the more styleleader end of the market now... interesting.

As I'm setting up my shop, finishing up textures and tightening up scripts ... I'm drawing a complete blank on what to name the new business!  A couple of ideas are floating around in my head, but noting is jumping out at me...

I've owned businesses before ... have one name which I'm particularly fond of and am considering keeping it.  However, as this is a rebirth of sorts ... maybe I should go with something new?  Dilemna, dilemna.

I don't want to pick a name which is already out there, somewhere.  I don't need the copyright laws people getting testy with me over some lamps, rugs and pictures lol  I usually choose a name which means something, it's just what I do. It's always such a big decision to name something.

It's making me cross-eyed.  I'd probably have no trouble if I didn't stress out so much over it.  I'll just give myself a couple of more days, do some more tweaking and see what happens.  Sounds like a plan to me!

Maybe I should just call it, "My Owner Can't Name Me - Please Shop Here"!!  ...that's a thought, too :)
