It would be nice to say that something happened today.

 Nothing worth blogging about.

The rain did let up today, so I took my trusty little cart with the wheels and walked over to the grocery store here, a short walk away.

My neighbor, a nice lady that lives 2 houses down from me stopped next to me and asked if I needed a ride.

Her husband is in my husband's unit. That was really nice of her. But truly the walk was like 5 minutes away, and I am no stranger to walking.

I went 2 years without a vehicle in California. I got a bunch of good stuff for the gurlz and I to eat. By good I mean, M I C R O W A V E A B L E hehe.

Well, it does help when the workload is cut, during Doug's absence. I used the time to do laundry instead.

Then we order a pizza. Expensive. Papa somebody... wants 16 freakin .95 for a large one topping.

Then the guy wants a tip too?

The gurlz are being relatively calm and collected with only the shortest of gurl fights here and there.

Little A is still homework challenged. I was napping when she got home, hence the timer was not on, then whoa she ate a whole row of oreos from the bag, plus 4 toaster scramblers. No more naps for me, while she's here. That made me upset, just knowing what harm comes from overeating for her, and she's a bit overweight anyway.

I'm sleepy so, cutting this short. Tommorrow, should be even more boring than today. I may get out and shoot a bit....

WordPress has an interesting stats engine that allows bloggers to see not only how many visitors hav

Wordpress has an interesting stats engine that allows bloggers to see not only how many visitors have read their blogs, but how these readers got there. When it comes to this blog, I've noticed that there are plenty of people searching the web for "brazilian lifestyle" and ending up here.

Even though this is the exact idea of my writtings, my concept of transmitting characteristics of brazilian lifestyle is not resumed to a single post. The entire blog is about brazilian lifestyle. Even my style of writting reveals a part of brazilian lifestyle. Everything depends on how readers face what they are reading.

But, as we live in the fast-food, fast-cars, fast-web and fast-sex world, I would be an alien to think everybody has patience and feeling to absorb things in an analytical and critical way.

SO, I've decided to cut-the-crap on this post and give to you, dear reader, a small, but essential, list of THINGS YOU MUST KNOW ABOUT BRAZIL BEFORE COMING HERE:

1 - We DO NOT speak spanish. Our mother language is portuguese, that has little or nothing to do with spanish.

2 - Our capital IS NOT Buenos Aires. This is Argentina's capital city. Ours is Brasília, D.F. The letters D.F. stands for Distrito Federal, which in english means Federal District.

3 - São Paulo is written like this. It is wrong to write São Paolo or San Paolo. We are not in Spain or in Italy. If you want to translate the name of a city, which I find wrong to do, please, translate it right. São Paulo, in english, would be Saint Paul. But please, swear you'll never translate Rio de Janeiro as "January River"!

4 - Our coin is called Real. It's worth something like US$ 1,70 and 2,5 Euro today.

5 - We don't dance samba around every corner, nor we drink caipirinhas in breakfast. You can easily find samba houses and official samba organizations that allows you to go in their club to samba yourself out. Samba on the streets only happens in Carnival time, generally in February. Something like Mardi Gras, but way, way funnier and happier. About caipirinhas... well, those you can find almost everywhere. But remember: the true caipirinha is made with cachaça, not with vodka.

6 - Yes, there is violence here. Despite our incredible natural beauties, we are still a third world country. So, please, don't act like a tourist. But I must say: the image that if you step here a bullet will cross in front if you is false. Just pay attention, as you would pay in New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris...

7 - We are nice and kind people, more than you can imagine. Keep that in mind if someone starts up a conversation or extend their hands in order to get a handshake. It's not necessary to call the police!

8 - You will find several beggars and abandoned children in the streets. Feel free to feel shocked and sad with it. I feel everyday.

9 - You will find several incredibly beautiful men and women in the streets. Feel free to feel shocked and amazed with it. I feel everyday.

10 - Going out to a bar at night, or to a disco, is a nice way to feel the brazilian vibe. But, please, stay away from these whorehouses-specially-made-to-drain-tourist-money. Brazil is not just sex and liberation. The industry of sexual tourism makes me feel ill.

Hope that's helpful. I'll write a better post about brazilian lifestyle in the near future.

For the folks that missed out on my last posting and are keeping up to date with the National Conventions in the United States, I am reposting this post in regards to information regarding Sarah Palin.

I was baffled at this blog I came across that had alot of facts in regards to Sarah Palin. I was looking for a blog or information that was unbiased about Sarah Palin because I had never heard of her before so I really didn't have an opinion one way or the other. The politics of the world does affect what I do because business is affected by the tides of politics.

I'm not a republican, a democrat, or an independent so I'm detached all the way through. Here is the blog:

Pro-choice women UNITE! We all know the male species sucks.

They have messed things up for US in the past and they will do it again if we let them, but we stood up to them, though. We can be proud. Thanks to our great forewomen of the past, we have achieved our first mission: the RIGHT TO ABORTION.

We now OWN our bodies, and we OWN the children in those bodies. They are mere slaves to our bodies. They HAVE NO RIGHTS! Say it louder and with power: WE OWN OUR BODIES! THEY ARE MERE SLAVES TO OUR BODIES! THEY HAVE NO RIGHTS!

That’s right, girls, and all we need do is SPEAK and their voices will be silenced. With this in mind, consider this: we have the power to SILENCE MEN ONCE AND FOR ALL! We now have the technology to know whether the property dwelling within us is a girl or a boy.

I SAY WE RISE UP. Rise up and make women voices the MAJORITY. We HAVE the ultimate power over life and death.

And the moment that BIG BANG happens, we have the power to cut EVERY MAN to his knees (if we so choose) before he is ever born.

And these men (ha,ha!), these men who were so easily DUPED into taking up our cause…I’m sure we can get their type to help us again.

NO ONE CAN TELL US “NO”! We ARE the CHOSEN ONES…and that miserable mistake dwelling within us cannot compare to our superiority.

After all, we are dwellers of the outside world and they are mere slaves to the perimeters of OUR womb. We were meant to be. WE WERE THE CHOSEN. They have no value.

My girls, it is written into law and NO ONE will take our “Rights” from us. WE are now the majority voice. It is our “right” as a woman and we BELIEVE IN OUR RIGHT TO CHOOSE.

If anyone questions our belief…all we need to do is to tell them: “Who are YOU to question MY BELIEF SYSTEM, “MY” RIGHTS?” “Who are YOU to take MY CHOICE FROM ME?”

What do you say, girls? Let’s start the next GREAT REVOLUTION! WE HAVE THE POWER! WE ARE WOMEN! AND WE WILL ROAR!

The next meeting will be at Mindy’s on Thursday, 7:00p.m. Tell your other half that we’re just having a girl’s night out! TTFN (ta,ta, for now!) :)

Mosaic Artist - Ulrike Martinez - Palm Springs, California

"From an early age, I have loved art and anything that has to do with creating art. My drawings and art projects were always displayed in school. I designed my own clothes and dabbled in interior design. I graduated from Dental School in Germany with a Bachelor's Degree in science. In 1990, I started painting murals, and in 2006 I discovered mosaic, a medium I was familiar with but had never tried.

Mosaic, this ancient art of putting together hand cut tesserae through meticulous precision, is a gratifying way to express my relentless desire to create beauty and for my visions of the world around me. After I finished my first piece, I could not let go. I had found what I was looking for all my life in creating beauty and the relentless pursuit of perfection.

It is an eloquent testimony of my dedication to carry on this form of one of the oldest art and decorating style. Once I have started on a piece, I cannot let go until it is finished. I design and draw all my pieces from scratch and with the greatest of care. I use only the finest materials available from around the world."

Obama's post convention bounce of seven points have disappeared and now he and Senator McCain are in a dead heat. This is bad news as Senator McCain is now going to get his Post Convention Bounce.

The sexist attacks on Governor Palin may be causing a problem with Hillary supporters who have switched to Obama. They may be reminded of the Primary when he kept making sexist remarks. They will leave him.

Senator McCain seems to have made a wonderful selection with Sarah Palin. The Conservatives seem to love her and a lot of Hillary supporters like her.

Welcome to the babes of tennis today. Since it's US Open now, I might as well post something related to the sport of yellow balls. To be honest, I don't play tennis BUT I like to watch it... especially when these ladies play.

Ana Ivanovic
First there was Kournikova. After her not-so-great attempt at being a tennis star, she realized she could do better by being a socialite (a la Paris Hilton) than an athlete. Then conveniently Miss Sharapova stepped up and took over and it became sort of like an upgrade to Anna Kournikova (Terminator 1 to Terminator 2).

Now say Hello! to Ana... Ana Ivanovic that is.

I wanna camp in that cave!
Oh baby....MMmmMMMm

Gimme em' Jugs!

Maria Sharapova
OK. Ok. Ok. She's still the IT girl for tennis and can still hold her own against upcoming ones like Ana on top.

Nice.

Looks like it's going to explode...

Oh man. I cant wait to see these ladies perform with shoestring bikinis.

WakakakAKakaka!

“The feminist crash of the ’20s came as a painful shock, so painful that it took history several decades to face up to it,” the literary critic Elaine Showalter wrote in 1978. Facing it now is like peering into a painful mirror. For all the talk of Hillary Clinton’s “breakthrough” candidacy and other recent successes for women, progress on important fronts has stalled.

Today, the United States ranks 22nd among the 30 developed nations in its proportion of female federal lawmakers. The proportion of female state legislators has been stuck in the low 20 percent range for 15 years; women’s share of state elective executive offices has fallen consistently since 2000, and is now under 25 percent. The American political pipeline is 86 percent male.

Women’s real annual earnings have fallen for the last four years. Progress in narrowing the wage gap between men and women has slowed considerably since 1990, yet last year the Supreme Court established onerous restrictions on women’s ability to sue for pay discrimination. The salaries of women in managerial positions are on average lower today than in 1983.

Women’s numbers are stalled or falling in fields ranging from executive management to journalism, from computer science to the directing of major motion pictures. The 20 top occupations of women last year were the same as half a century ago: secretary, nurse, grade school teacher, sales clerk, maid, hairdresser, cook and so on. And just as Congress cut funds in 1929 for maternity education, it recently slashed child support enforcement by 20 percent, a decision expected to leave billions of dollars owed to mothers and their children uncollected.

Again, male politicians and pundits indulge in outbursts of “new masculinist” misogyny (witness Mrs. Clinton’s campaign coverage). Again, the news media showcase young women’s “feminist — new style” pseudo-liberation — the flapper is now a girl-gone-wild. Again, many daughters of a feminist generation seem pleased to proclaim themselves so “beyond gender” that they don’t need a female president.

As it turns out, they won’t have one. But they will still have all the abiding inequalities that Hillary Clinton, especially in defeat, symbolized. Without a coalescing cause to focus their forces, how will women fight a foe that remains insidious, amorphous, relentless and pervasive?

Go. Read it all.

Paula Ann Lujan Quinene believes one of the best ways to share and help others understand a culture is through tasting the food. It is this philosophy that this native born Chamorro from Guam adopted when she penned the book "A Taste of Guam."

[caption id="attachment_1713" align="aligncenter" width="283" caption="A Taste of Guam"][/caption]

Originally published in 2006, by Infinity Publishing, Quinene has been able to provide some of the recipes to some of Guam's most mouth watering dishes that have graced an island fiesta buffet or family dinner table. The recipes are easy to follow.

[caption id="attachment_1714" align="aligncenter" width="360" caption="Guam"][/caption]

Among my favorites are some of the sweets I enjoyed in my childhood like guyuria ( fried cookies with dusted with sugar syrup) or Latiya ( pound cake with custard and cinnamon). There are also famous Guam barbecue recipes that are sure to please any palate as well as a host of other types of recipes.

Here is a sneak peak at the recipe of my favorite Guam dish:

HELPFUL HINTS

A. The chicken may be cooked using the following methods: boil, bake, bbq.

B. Crack the coconut in half by using a heavy duty knife to rap at the center of the nut. Rotate the nut in the palm of the hand after each rap. Use a kamyo (kum-dzu) to shred the coconut. Kelaguen is delicious with coconut, though it also tastes great without it. Keep in mind that in the fridge, kelaguen without coconut lasts longer than kelaguen with coconut.

Letterman: After McCain Drops Dead, Palin Won't Teach Sex Ed

So I was watching “The O’Reilly Factor” to see Bill O’Reilly’s intervi

So I was watching "The O'Reilly Factor" to see Bill O'Reilly's interview with Barack Obama when he showed a clip from "The David Letterman Show" airing on Sept. 3. In the clip, Letterman is chatting with Dr. Phil McGraw about Republican Vice-Presidential nominee Sarah Palin and her pregnant teen daughter.

Letterman sets it up like this, "Here's the first thing that came to my mind--OK, so poor John McCain drops dead in office. He gets elected and drops dead. It's happened! I think Grover Cleveland dropped dead in office, I don't know. So now she's the President and I'm thinking to myself, so she's the president, fine, but don't you want your President to have had the presence of mind to have chatted to her teenage kids for five minutes about birth control?"

Dr. Phil responded by saying (this is paraphrased), "Whoa, Dave, just wait until your kid becomes a teenager, and we can contiue this discussion then!" The joke basically bombed, but apparently true wit isn't one of Letterman's strong points (guess he has to use the teleprompter). He then asked, "They don't sell Trojan condoms in Alaska?" Further pressing the issue, Letterman suggests that Sarah Palin probably forced abstinence on her daughter, didn't teach her about birth control, and that's why Bristol Palin got pregnant! (Don't believe me? Go here to watch a clip of the show. The part I'm discussing starts at the 4:38 minute marker and continues on until the end. Yes, over four minutes of this nonsense!)

First of all, I find it offensive that Letterman would suggest that McCain would just drop dead once he gets into office because he is in his early 70's. Did anyone get a load of his mom, Roberta? The lady is 96 and as spry as a 50 year-old! While I know that Letterman is edgy, that statement seemed rude, even for him.

Second, Letterman assumes that the Palins didn't teach their children about responsible sex because their daughter is pregnant. Guess what, Dave? Girls who wear condoms (and use birth control) can still get pregnant. Amazing how that works! Besides, even if the Palins didn't talk to Bristol about sex, I'm sure her public education told her all about the dangers of pre-marital sex. I'm willing to bet she even got to practice putting a condom on a banana.

Third, I can't believe he blamed "abstinence" for her pregnancy saying that she was less likely to use a condom! Just because she was told to abstain (if she was told to abstain), doesn't mean she listened. What if her boyfriend kept a condom in his wallet "just in case"? While I'm abstaining from premarital sex, I'm not so naive as to think that people don't have sex, even if they're told abstinence is a better choice. And really, what does that have to do with anything, much less Palin's vice-presidential nomination?

Fourth, why is he trying to drag poor Dr. Phil into his nonsense? At one point, the audience actually went silent, probably because Letterman's rant was so mean-spirited.

Some rags and media outlets seem to be having a field day with Sarah Palin's personal life, which is interesting because I don't recall Joe Biden receiving this much attention. And Obama was raised by a single mom who had Barack when she was 18, didn't she? Hmm, why does Letterman seem so ignorant of that fact, or does his show exist to simply spew stupidity?

Ignorant or stupid--take your pick.

By Christopher Gabriel, CGabriel.com
At a major political convention, a young politician bursts on

By Christopher Gabriel, CGabriel.com

At a major political convention, a young politician bursts onto the national scene. A gifted speaker who is tough, smart, poised and knows how to turn a phrase to get a laugh. This individual is hailed as one of America's great leaders of the future. That person was Barack Obama.

When he spoke at the Democractic National Convention in 2004, the country was mesmerized by his commanding presence and charismatic good looks. No one knew if there was substance with his style because up to that point, he was still relatively unknown. One might even go as far to say he was "only" an Illinois state senator at the time. But at the end of the day it didn't matter. We took him at face value and gave him a chance.

Since that speech it's fair to say he's not done too badly for himself, getting elected to the U.S. Senate and ultimately becoming the Democratic Party's nominee for president.

Now insert Sarah Palin's name in the above example.

Simply change state senator and U.S. senator to mayor of a small town and governor of Alaska and just about everything else is the same. At the Republican National Convention she showed herself to be a gifted speaker. A lady who is tough, smart, poised and knows how to turn a phrase to get a laugh. Notice I said just about everything else is the same.

In the case of Sarah Palin, she's not a future leader; she already is a leader. If mayor of a small town doesn't cut it for you, being the governor of one of this nation's crucial energy states, a state that's had more than its share of corruption she managed to clean up, should pass as the price of admission.

So why do so many Democrats seem to fear her? In sports, if you're unconcerned over your opponent you don't need to say a word about them, much less attack them at every turn. Politics are no different. And yet there was Sen. Barbara Boxer (Calif.) saying, "The vice president is a heartbeat away from becoming president, so to choose someone with not one hour’s worth of experience on national issues is a dangerous choice."

Dangerous? When Bill Clinton was the governor of Arkansas and began his run for the White House, was Boxer, at that time a member of the House of Representatives, concerned that her party had nominated a governor from a small southern state without any experience on national issues?

And then there's Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz of Florida. In a scathing attack on Palin, the congresswoman closed with the new battle cry of the Democrats. "What relevant experience does Sarah Palin have, to be able to sit across the conference table, with negotiators, with the prime ministers and presidents of this world?"

If Governor Palin is so woefully inept, so laughably unqualified for vice president, why do they care about her so much? Barack Obama is running against John McCain, not Sarah Palin. Isn't that how it shapes up or did I miss something?

Does all of this have anything to do with the simple fact she's different? Oh sure, she's not had to make decisions on national security or met with leaders at a G8 summit. Nor has she led talks trying to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I'm just trying to remember how Barack Obama handled himself in those same situations.

Sarah Palin is no less qualified to hold the second-highest office in the land than Barack Obama is to be president. Many will dispute that statement. Some of them will question how a mother of five has the audacity to think she can hold such a high office. Does anyone question how Barack Obama, father of two young daughters, hopes to balance being a parent and a president?

Has anyone ever questioned a male politican how he would balance holding office with his children's football games, piano recitals, ballet lessons or soccer matches?

How many past presidents and vice presidents were truly equipped for the job when they got there?

Sarah Palin is not your run-of-the-mill politician and that really seems to bother a few folks. She's not a Washington insider. She's so far outside, she's barely an outsider.

Although I'm not a political wonk, I've observed politics since Richard Nixon was in, and out of, the White House. I've watched and listened to a lot of speeches since that time, both in person and on television. Sarah Palin's speech at the RNC was the finest I've ever heard. It makes no difference who wrote it. She delivered it with the same commanding quality Barack Obama and Joe Biden deliver their written-by-someone-else speeches.

For Independents like myself, I have never had a party line to tow. I've voted for Democrats. I've voted for Republicans. I don't care about anything but the person, their character, their political track record and what they propose to do on the economy, health care and our national security.

While it remains to be seen whether Sarah Palin really does have the substance to match her style, the same is true for Barack Obama. The suggestion she's dangerous is tantamount to a misdirection play in football: Fool everyone with a great fake while the real play is going in a different direction.

Oh my poor poor pitiful Barack is being overshadowed by a little women. He thought he got rid of two uppity women and now he has to do it all over again but this time this Uppity woman has an entire party to protect her. She also has the Protection and support of a lot of women including former Hillary supporters. He is so worried about this that he is dispatching Hillary Clinton to Florida. I wish she would stay away from him. He is a disaster and should get his own women.

Sexism sells Senator Obama but we ain't buying. Your losing women because you insulted them and then you never even vetted Senator Clinton. McCain made the right choice. Obama and his sexist minions began attacking Sarah Palin right away.

I personally don't care who campaigns for that man I will not go to see him. I am supporting a female in this election. I am going to make history and I am going to vote for the female. Sorry Barry. I hope you enjoy your career ending moment. It couldn't happen to a nicer fellow.

[caption id="attachment_22" align="aligncenter" width="480" caption="the little things"][/caption]

So usually when sitting down trying to go to the bathroom (in peace) one is bombarded with the random graffiti written on the walls. Apparently from most guys, they usually see pictures of penises (talk to saba for his commentary on that.. pretty damn funny). Luckily, us women don't find the need to draw our vaginas on the walls. However, it doesnt stop us from writing stupid other shit.

Well, today was different. Amidst all the "katy loves josh", "call me", etc...was some words of wisdom.

Now, obviously what I read is common knowledge, but was struck me was that it was in different handwriting, meaning different people commented on what one lady had expressed, and one woman said it the best: "the secret to life is to love thyself first" .... then she writes an arrow down and writes again "love thy neighbor as thyself... love thyself first".

Truer words were never said. The more you hate yourself the less you can love others. Plain and simple. Everyone tends to look outward first instead of looking at the person who has the greatest effect, you.

Again, common knowledge, but never seen in the ladies room.

Good job, ladies.

**NOTE: I assume they were women because it was in the ladies restroom, but I don't deny that it still could have been men who, for whatever reason, used this particular stall.

Apparently 5:50am is my designated wake-up time as of late. I'm choosing to get up and get going without getting an attitude about it! Sawyer has been sleeping through the night (until about this time...), so that is most helpful. However, this AM he didn't go back to sleep and Sammy was "wide eyed and bushy tailed!" as my daddy use to say! That WASN'T how I wanted to start my day off, however, it's not about me, it's about HIM! So since this was the case, were were able to get clothes put away, beds made, more laundry completed, before we left for our meeting.

Well, we made it through our first meeting of the year for Mothers League. I'm so glad I've learned to chill out and roll with the flow. Last minute changes had to be made due to construction at our new meeting location. No biggie; I thought it was a great area to meet. Our guest speaker was wonderful. She shared some spiritual truths while working with a pottery wheel. While we were busy trying to get started (first meetings alwasy present some kindof snag!) she started playing the piano. What peace and calmness that brought to me. Love being with these women. We are getting ML business cards to share/invite other mom's we meet. We've also started a yahoo group so folks don't get lost in the email shuffle. All good things. We're off to a good start. I think the rain kept some away that we were expecting.

Speaking of weather - so glad to see the sun this afternoon! Usually I notice that the sun hasn't been out in a few days and it plays into my mood. However, I didn't notice it this time. Must be cause I'm always busy with the kids! Even with the dreary weather we've spend some time on our covered back patio with sidewalk chalk and playing ball.

Me and the kids hit the library after dinner. I picked up two books to try. I really want to read a new book that is out, "Shadow of Colossus" but I'm unwilling to fork out the money right now. Then we hit the park close to dark - wanted to help the kids expel that energy so they'd be ready for bed! Plus, I needed a little space myself to walk/relax/sit in the swing (even if only briefly...)

Surprising answer to pray came today - I mean a bleak request is what I made. I enjoy being outside (once it cools off) and was telling Father it would be nice to have some free tickets to some football games. Tony tells me tonight that he's been handed 4 passes for Kilgore College football AND basketball games. Wootty Hootty Hooty! I meant High School football games, but I'm willing to gratefully accept any gift my Heavenly Father offers me! He is ssooooooo soooooooo good!

I'm glad to have my first LML meeting behind me. Our new chaplain did a wonderful job (this is the position I had last year, and would rather have, if Father had not asked me to be president).

Sammy is off to MeMe's tomorrow. Not sure what SW and I will get into. Very little. I'm off to read.

"Oh my god, I can't believe you've turned her into a Republican!"

"Well, actually I'm not a Republican, I'm a Libertarian & she's probably more that than anything"

"Well, I think she's a Republican now".

Snort.

It's 4am & I've just ordered my very own Sarah Palin hoodie. (Told you nothing good happens in the wee hours with me!)

Now that's gonna blow him a new one!

I was torn between this & the "My Vice-Presidential Candidate is HOTTER than YOUR candidate" but I settled on the fact she's looking pretty fucking hardcore right there.

Can ya'll picture me walking round Bonnie Scotland in this?! Don't tell me it doesn't make you proud!

S'ok, you can do it!

Needless to say I'm feeling better.

HOT! NO. i don’t mean the gorgeous man i was staring at running down the street yesterday. You

HOT! NO. i don't mean the gorgeous man i was staring at running down the street yesterday. You know the type. No shirt. Only a pair of lose shorts on. You can see every single muscle tightening with each foot that hits the concrete. OH YES. NO. that is not the HOT i am speaking of. I am speaking of feeling HOT. i have been feeling so hot lately. For no reason at all. I will be sitting down and all of a sudden i get this huge surge of heat fall over me. I mean i feel as though i was locked in a sauna and no one would open the door. That is absolutely the worst. I would take being cold any day. At least with being cold you could get a blanket. Layer fifteen different shirts over you. When you are hot you are just hot.

This little problem is only made worse by the fact that i live in florida where it is hot all the damn time. I usually just walk around in some small shorts and a tank top. Anything where my skin can be exposed to keep me cool is a good thing. The problem is, in florida, because it is so ungodly hot outside all of the department stores put their air conditioners on 60. So you want to go shopping and your nipples start to freeze off. i have started bringing a sweater when i know i am going on a shopping excursion. People give me some weird looks but you know what? who cares. At least i am not frozen like a popsicle and i can actually stop to look at the food in the freezer section.

This being hot thing sucks. I am only in my early thirties. I keep thinking to myself. Is this menopause already? Is it possible i am going through the change? i have even researched this and i found there is such a thing as perimenopause. the very early stages of menopause. If this is how it is going to be during menopause...take my name off that list. When that time comes i am going to have to walk around with ice packs glued to my chest. Who needs a breast augmentation when i have ice packs? I have even gotten so hot lately that i just stand with my head in the freezer. Just stand there. I am seriously considering moving north. I know there are those out there who hate the cold. I understand why. I have lived up north. Hell, i grew up there. However, this hot business is for the birds.

I learned in a psych class that i took recently that when people are uncomfortable they become mean. That makes so much sense. that explains why everyone is so bitchy here. It is the damn 100 degree weather and everyone is tired of feeling like the sun is burning their skin off. When we are uncomfortable we will do anything to start to feel more relaxed and better. I guess next time i get that extreme hot feeling i am just going to have to take all of my clothes off. Hopefully i won't offend those who are never an uncomfortable temperature. I think next time that i start to see someone get pissed off..and screaming and hollering like a crazy person. I am just going to say "HEY, YOU OVER THERE HOLLERING...I AM HOT TOO BUT YOU DON'T SEE ME BITCHING!" wait a sec....haha. yes i am. i am bitching about it in this blog. OOPS.

please someone hand me some ice. i could go for some ice chips right about now.

have a sexy, fun and cool day.
